Most thieves are known as criminal and unethical wrong doers that affect society with their actions; it is the reason that they’re condemned by the laws of the world. Although there is another side to the thief personification that most people never realize and that is the thief of the justified governing hands, the honorable thieves wich never take for personal gain but as requirements for order.

An example of when righteous thieves are condoned: when criminals are committing crimes, they will do all they can do to get away with their crimes & escape the law, including the simplist action of not leaving evidence. So criminals won’t simply give their property to the police as evidence to prosecute themselves in court. The police as righteous thieves will have to confiscate the property of criminals that was used in crimes, without their permission, to use against them in the courts of law as evidence for prosecution & sentencing. Confiscating weapons & drugs (etc) from criminals is doing so without the permission of the criminals; taking something that doesn’t belong to you without the permission of the one it belongs to is stealing. Only the law does it for justice & order, meaning not all thieves are criminals or wrongdoers.

In zherrax philosophy there is the icon of the justified honorable thief & if one doesn’t have the authority to steal then one could assist the order of those that do, hence the symbolism of the vampire bat totem as vampiric spirituality (a psychology), a creature that steals lifeforce from its prey. In this case honorable thieves taking from criminals that owe the system & its citizens through fines, fees & restitution (etc).
